Hallo liebe Kollegen, hier ein Gruß von Stanley. Er ist offenbar gut 
nach Clausthal übergesiedelt. Ich habe ihm overallmäßig geantwortet, 
allerdings nicht im Hinblick auf seine Frage zur Jacke von
Beate :-)

Sehr geehrte Frau Johanna Röper,

Es tut mir sehr leid, dass ich Ihnen nicht geschrieben habe, seit ich 
von Aachen nach Clausthal-Zellerfeld gezogen bin. Ich bin jetzt fast 
vollständig im Leben hier in Clausthal verankert.

Die Sperrung des Corona-Virus ist sehr kompliziert, da alle akademischen 
Gebäude, die Bibliothek und die meisten Geschäfte geschlossen sind, aber 
Studenten das Lebenselixier von Clausthal sind und immer noch hier sind.

Meine Adresse lautet Wohnung 39 Leibnizstraße 20, 38678 
Clausthal-Zellerfeld.  Online-Vorträge werden, so Gott will, am 20. 
April beginnen.  Es wird eine Herausforderung für alle Universitäten 
sein, einschließlich meiner, auf die Online-Plattform zu wechseln, aber 
ich bin bereit für die Herausforderung und habe einen neuen 
Laptop-Computer zum Booten.

Habe nur einen Freund namens Daniel Randy Azuma aus Ghana.  Der gute 
Herr führte mich zu ihm, als ich Clausthal im Februar zum ersten Mal 
besuchte, und er hat mir sehr geholfen.  Er ist auch ein praktizierender 
Katholik und ein Masterstudent in Informatik.

Ich bin Ihnen, dem koordinierenden Priester, Beata, Herrn Markus Reissen 
und allen anderen Mitarbeitern der katholischen Universitätsgemeinschaft 
zu Dank verpflichtet. Ich kann meine ersten sechs Monate in Aachen und 
in Deutschland insgesamt nie vergessen.  Der gute Herr hat euch alle 
benutzt, um mir auf nicht geringe Weise zu helfen, Richtung und 
Konzentration in einem neuen Land zu finden.  Ich erinnere mich in 
meinen Gebeten an Sie alle und bete, dass diese E-Mail Sie bei Ihrer 
Arbeit ermutigt, den Bedürftigen zu helfen.

Es tut mir leid, dass ich in einer Übersetzer-App tippe und hoffe, dass 
meine Nachricht nicht in der Übersetzung verloren geht.  Ich kann die 
Übersetzung jedoch Korrektur lesen, aber dann ...

Hoffentlich werde ich in Zukunft Aachen besuchen und das Gemeindezentrum 
besuchen, um zuerst "Danke an alle" zu sagen und dann Hallo!

Ich würde gerne direkt an Frau Beata schreiben und ihr für all ihre 
Hilfe danken.  Ich habe immer noch die Jacke, die sie mir gegeben hat, 
als ich in Aachen ankam und nur eine Sommerjacke hatte.

Ich kann auch Ihren weisen Rat und Ihre Unterkunft bei meinen armen 
Brüdern nicht vergessen, die Sie mir bei der Sicherung geholfen haben.  
Möge der gute Herr Sie und Ihre Lieben in diesen schwierigen Zeiten 
beschützen. Amen.

Dear Mrs Johanna Röper,

I am deeply sorry for not writing to you since I relocated from Aachen 
to Clausthal-Zellerfeld. I am now almost fully settled into Life here in 
Clausthal.

The Corona Virus lockdown complicated matters a lot as all academic 
buildings, the Library and most shops are shutdown but Students are the 
lifeblood of Clausthal and are still here so..

My address is apartment 39 Leibnizstraße 20, 38678 Clausthal-Zellerfeld. 
Online lectures will God-willing begin on the 20th of April. It will be 
a Challenge for all Universities including mine to switch to the online 
platform but I am up for the Challenge and have a new Laptop computer to 
boot.

Just have one Friend by name Daniel Randy Azuma from Ghana. The Good 
Lord led me to him when I first visited Clausthal in February and He has 
been of great help to me. He is also a Practicing Catholic and a 
Master's student in computer science. I am indebted to you, The 
Co-ordinating Priest, Beata, Mr Markus Reissen and all the other staff 
of the Catholic University community. I can never forget my first six 
months in Aachen and Germany as a whole. The Good Lord used you all to 
assist me in no small way find direction and focus in a new country. I 
remember you all in my prayers and pray that this email encourages you 
in your work of providing help to those in need.

Sorry I am typing on a translator app and hope my message doesn't get 
lost in translation. I can however proofread the translation but then...

Hopefully I will visit Aachen in the future and will visit the Community 
centre to say "Thank you all" first and then Hallo!

I would love to write directly to Madam Beata and thank her for all her 
help. I still have the Jacket she gave me when I first arrived in Aachen 
and only had a summer Jacket.

Neither can I forget your wise counsel and accommodation with My Armen 
brothers you helped me secure. May the Good Lord keep You and your Loved 
ones safe during these trying times. Amen.
