Palästinenser in Israel: Noman
ist 18, er lebt in dem
arabischen Dorf Wade el Neam in
der israelischen Halbwüste. Der
Staat Israel erkennt dieses,
ebenso wie weitere 39 Dörfer,
nicht an. Über 100.000 Menschen
haben so keinen Zugang zu
Wasser, Strom, Straßen oder auch
Bildung. Gamileh aus Arrabeh in
Nordisrael hat ihren 17-jährigen
Sohn Asiel im Jahr 2000
verloren. Als Aktivist der
Friedensorganisiation „Seeds of
Peace“ wurde er während einer
Demonstration im Jahr 2000 vor
ihren Augen von israelischen
Polizisten erschossen. Taisier
aus Akka am Mittelmeer ist mit
einer Palästinenserin aus dem
Westjordanland verheiratet.
Obwohl sie eine
Aufenthaltserlaubnis für Israel
erhalten hat, besitzt sie in
Israel kaum Rechte. Dabei wollen
sie nur eines: Ein würdevolles
Leben mit ihren gemeinsamen
Kindern führen.</span><br>
<span>Der Filmemacher Wisam Zureik
- selbst in Israel geborener
Palästinenser - bietet mit
seinem Film einen tiefen,
aufschlussreichen und anregenden
Einblick in die Lebensumstände
der Protagonisten. Der Film
eröffnet einen Blickwinkel auf
die Situation der
palästinensischen Minderheit in
Israel und erzählt von
Marginalisierung, Gerechtigkeit,
Trauer, Liebe, Wut und Hoffnung.</span><br>
